Hi everybody~ Kirameki here.

Just posting an FYI since it hasn't been posted here yet. As of the 17th of May, the Touhou TF2 Vote group is no longer doing any voice acting related work, except to host files should somebody else create a voice pack. If somebody else does want to take up the reins and seriously put time and effort into it, please feel free. We'll gladly give you any related files and host the results, but this would have to be an entirely separate endeavor.

For full details on what/why/etc., please see this post: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TouhouFortressTwo/announcements/detail/91375167742555149

Sorry to disappoint anybody who was waiting for this. =|

>> No.245

imo someone should make a jp-voicepack instead

>> No.246

and if anyone still need the VA script for whatever reason, here it is:

I think you guys should have MANNOSUKE. Touhou soccer had MANNOSUKE it really wouldn't be a real Touhou mod without him. Just saying...

>> No.207

I can even voice him if you me to...

>> No.210

MANNOSUKE should be the announcer. It seems like the right place for him.

>>210

I agree wholeheartedly. I wonder how much "manliness" can be expressed before my head explodes..?

Here's my audition for Aya; feel free to leave any comments! ^_^

My ears bleeds a little.

>> No.236

Sorry, let me rephrase: please leave a helpful comment so that I can improve. "My ears bleeds a little" does not help me in any way, nor is it grammatically correct.

>> No.240

It's a bit enthusiastic for my liking . . .

Or rather, the stresses are a little too stressed, makes it sound a little forced.

>> No.242

I definitely enjoyed the first acting of "Fastest thing in Gensokyo". The "Extra, Extra" was amazing as well!

I would have to hear more, but overall I think there's potential for a soundpack.

Mokou with Japanese added.

Also has an "owchpack" She dies at the end.

jp lines: yes yes yes I would so download this

eng lines: there's not much emotion and with a comparison it sounds like you have so much more experience with japanese than english :/

>> No.239

What a surprise. Very true that I have MUCH more experience in Japanese than in English XP;

It's so hard to shape the phrases in English.

Anyways, thanks for the feedback (earlier too, if that's the same anonymous XD; ) I'm working on fixing things up so that my english'll parallel my japanese

>> No.241

yes, it's the same anon ohohohoho

(you can tell by the lack of grammatical punctuation and capitalization)

good luck on improving your english acting! (imo you speak it pretty well already so yeah)

And finally...Reimu. I used my "higher quality" mic on Reimu, different than from everybody else. The sound is cleaner, but it picks up the mid-ranges clearly and leaves out the all-important high ranges, so I have to make my own voice higher to try to accomodate. I'm not sure which one I like better.

>> No.235

you have an okay voice but you're not really putting forth much soul or emotion imo.

also you have a bit of an accent but that's okay for reimu at least. (it is also kind of cute imo but that's not really related to the voice acting)

...then again I'm not a staff member so really nothing I say matters ohohohohoho

also it sounds like you used the same voice for pretty much all the characters.

Sakuya's lines are here now. Only Reimu left to go...And I made a steam account now after seeing the post on the other page.

Yuyuko was difficult--I wanted to make her sound whimsical, yet not too high...but it seemed that whimsical=high pitched by default. Anyways, hopefully she didn't come out too mature sounding.

Reimu and I are still trying to smooth things over for her lines, and I'm having awkwardness issues with Yuyuko's lines referring to Wriggle and Mystia -_-; They just come out too cheesy. Sakuya should be up by tomorrow! At least we came to an agreement.

Oh, and I haven't done "hurt noises" or "death screams" for any of them yet. These are roughs at their best, unpolished and horrible with the mic > <;

Hmm...I'm not happy with the way things came out. I'm trying to experiment with a different mic, but it's coming out more muffled-sounding than this one. I'm not very literate with my technology, but I'm trying!

Thanks Dexanari for the link btw!
